Paul serves as Managing Partner of Argos Capital Partners, where he works with ultra-affluent families to implement all aspects of their highly sophisticated investment programs. Working closely with a family’s tax and estate professionals, Paul also evaluates and recommends investments in marketable securities, private equity and private debt, real estate and other alternative investments based on each family’s liquidity needs, time horizon and risk tolerance.
Spanning the wide and varied needs of Argos’ families, Paul’s primary focus is on direct private investments such as rental real estate real estate developments and sustainable operating companies, mainly in the business to business space.
Prior to Argos Capital Partners, LLC, Paul founded and managed the registered investment advisor firm Tice Asset Management, LLC. He also worked at the real estate consultancy DFC Group, as an attorney with Rosenblum, Goldenhersh, Silverstein and Zafft, P.C. and as a CPA with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLP. Paul also serves on the board of directors of a variety of Argos portfolio companies.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Paul received his J.D. and B.S.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was recognized with the Gerry and Bob Virgil Ethic of Service Award. He serves on the National Council of the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University and Chairs the finance committee of Lutheran Senior Services. Besides his community service, Paul enjoys traveling with family, reading and a wide variety of exercise.
