Rob joined Argos Capital Partners (ACAP) in September of 2008 as Director of Investments to help lead the firm’s investment team. He has over 25 years of experience in the wealth management and investment industry.
Prior to joining ACAP, Rob was the Director of Investments at Moneta Group. During his tenure, Moneta Group was the 3rd largest independent wealth management firm in the country and winner of the Schwab Institutional Best-In-Business Award in 2007.
Prior to Moneta Group, Rob spent 12 years at Bank of America doing company analysis both on the debt and equity side of the balance sheet. Rob spent 5 years in middle market and upper middle market lending where he focused on individual company underwriting. Subsequently, Rob spent 4 years at Banc of America Capital Management (BACAP) as a buy-side equity analyst doing company and industry analysis supporting the bank’s high net worth clients along with Bank of America’s mutual fund complex. In his role at BACAP, Rob also made numerous appearances on CNBC, CBS MarketWatch and Bloomberg Television.
Rob graduated from the University of Missouri in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Bachelor’s degree in English. He went on to receive his MBA from the University of Missouri in 1999. Rob received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2001, his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation in 2009 and his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation in 2019. Rob is a past President of the CFA Society of St. Louis.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys reading, chess, running and tennis.
